Vinyl Music Player plays the music already on your device. It scans your library by album, artist, genre, or folder, and keeps everything local — there is no streaming, no account, and no cloud component of any kind. The interface follows Material design with a lock-screen widget, a home-screen widget, and a sleep timer. Smart playlists can be built from rules (genre, play count, date added), ID3 tags can be edited in-app, and scrobbling to Last.fm works via a dedicated connector. It is a community fork of the classic Phonograph, open source under GPLv3, and famously light on resources.
