A fully-featured open-source camera app — manual controls, HDR, RAW, timer, remote control, no ads.
Camera app whose permissions match its function exactly (camera/mic/optional geotag). No trackers — location is opt-in for photo tags.
Open Camera is a camera app with a complete manual feature set. It exposes full control over ISO, exposure compensation, white balance, and focus; supports RAW (DNG) capture, HDR, exposure bracketing, panorama assist, and burst shooting; and offers multiple grid, level, and composition overlays. The interface is fully configurable — you can remap the volume keys to shutter, zoom, or focus, control the camera by voice or via a timer, and set up auto-repeat shots. Video capture supports 4K on capable hardware with the same manual controls. Open Source under GPLv3+ and funded by donations, it requires only camera, audio, and location (optional, for geotagging) permissions.
