Markor is a text editor for Markdown, todo.txt, and plaintext files. Everything is stored as ordinary files in folders you choose, so your notes work with git, Syncthing, or any sync tool — there is no proprietary database and no lock-in. Markdown renders live with syntax highlighting, checkboxes are tappable directly in the text, and todo.txt tasks can be sorted, filtered, and marked done from a dedicated view. The in-built presentation mode turns a Markdown file into slides. Markor is open source, offline-first, and contains no ads, no analytics, and no internet permission at all.
