A privacy-friendly, fully-featured open-source email client — no ads, no tracking, batteries included.
Mail client with strong privacy defaults — remote content blocked, encryption supported, no telemetry. Permissions map directly to mail functionality.
FairEmail is a comprehensively featured email client designed around privacy and battery efficiency. It supports virtually every provider and protocol — IMAP, POP3, Exchange, Gmail, Outlook — with push notifications via IMAP IDLE, colored unified inboxes, and per-account settings. Privacy defaults are strict: messages render as plain text first, remote images and tracking pixels are blocked, and scripts never execute. PGP (via OpenKeychain) and S/MIME encryption are built in, along with biometric locking and granular notification rules. The open-source core is complete and usable for free; optional paid features fund development. No data leaves your device beyond connecting to your own mail servers.
